CELEBRATE YOUTH WEEK IN PORT COQUITLAM WITH EVENTS STARTING MAY 1st
Port Coquitlam has plenty of fun-filled events planned for B.C. Youth Week, a provincial celebration of youth, held annually during the first week of May. The celebrations are intended to build a strong connection between youth and their communities.
Port Coquitlam youth can look forward to these exciting FREE events throughout the week at both recreation centres:
May 1-7: Free Swimming all Week
Wed. May 1: Opening Celebrations
Experience the opening festivities by visiting a Youth Activity Centre and enjoying a complimentary cookie.

Thurs., May 2: Super Smash Brothers Tournament
Show off your skills as the ultimate Super Smash Brothers player on Nintendo Switch in the 1v1 tournament with competitive eSports rules and regulations.

Experience a variety of thrilling attractions including extreme interactive inflatables, like obstacle courses, jousting, and wipeout, along with escape rooms, mini-games, and much more!

Mon., May 6: Youth Gourmade
Discover how simple it is to prepare mouthwatering meals for yourself, your family, and your friends! Join an energetic group cooking course taught by a chef and master the art of crafting Instagram-worthy dishes.

Youth participants are required to have a free annual membership that provides access to youth activities and events in the community. A PoCo Youth Membership PLUS is also available for a $15 annual fee, granting free access to special youth events.
